Primary signature — the pulse mark, wordmark and suffix

The Brief

The visual identity behind Monit247 — a pulse mark built from three bars, a lowercase wordmark, and a palette drawn entirely from the logo itself. A complete system: construction grid, clear-space rules, lockups for every background, and the misuse cases that keep it intact.

The Challenge

Monit247 monitors uptime around the clock, so its mark had to read as "alive" at every size — from a favicon in a crowded tab strip to reception signage — without leaning on the tired conventions of monitoring software: no heartbeats, no traffic lights, no gauges.

Our Approach

We drew the symbol on a square canvas as three equal bars, offsetting the middle one to mark the live signal. The wordmark sets "monit" in lowercase for approachability and the "247" suffix in Signal Green for around-the-clock coverage. The palette takes its three colours straight from the mark, and every rule below — construction, clear space, minimum sizes, lockups — exists so the identity survives contact with the real world.

The Outcome

A brand system that holds together from 24px to a building facade, documented well enough that the Monit247 team can apply it without us in the room. The same green now anchors the marketing site, the product dashboard, and the stationery.
